I'm based in Folkestone, Kent. If you're local, you can make an appointment for the Speakeasy Writing Clinic to have a sit down and chat about your writing.
I think everyone with aspirations for their writing should have access to some sort of support, to help them develop their ideas and craft. But that professional access is usually expensive and can be daunting.
The Speakeasy is 'pay what you want, if you want', a session to talk seriously about your writing and get feedback and support, an informal but professional chat in a cafe or at the Folkestone Bookshop. We'll figure out a specific topic to focus on, a desired outcome, and put our heads together. For instance:
Discuss a novel idea.
Get guidance on how to structure parts and chapters.
Talk through correct punctuation for dialogue.
Troubleshoot a short piece of writing.
Test a poem.
If you're interested, get in touch and we'll figure out a time and date that works for us.
